March 2012 Sathsangh

This month our Sathsangh co insided with the Rama Navami Festival. The attendence was full, with lot of Children, Parents and Well wishers.
The Programme started off with Mrs. Ramprasad highlighting the Trust activities. Then there was Mass Chanting of  the sloka "Soorya praarthana " and "Rama Stothram". The whole place was vibrating with Lord Rama's names.
Next Mrs Vaidehi Ramadurai, one of the Trust member gave some interesting news about Rama's names and how powerful they are in our everyday life. The Children were happy to answer the questions put to them also.
This was followed by a Keyboard Programme by Miss. K Amrutha. She was given support on the Mridangam by Master Hariram. They both gave a very enjoyable and pleasing programme for half an hour, which was well appreciated by one and all present.
Finally The Aarthi for God was done and Prasadam of Panagam, Neer More , Lime rice and Rava laddu was distributed to all.
It was a very enjoyable evening and all members present appreciated the good efforts of Mr. and Mrs. Ramprasad, in promoting and encouraging the young children in the Traditional Values and Culture of our Country.
