VIJAYA DASAMI CELEBRATIONS

   SRI  MATHA  SAMARPANAM  TRUST IS ORGANISING A  MASS CHANTING OF  "VISHNU  SAHASRANAMAM"  BY ALL TRUST MEMBERS AND WELL WISHERS.

TIMING: 10.30 A.M. TO 11.30 A.M. ON THE 11TH OF OCTOBER 2016

VENUE: TRUST OFFICE:  17/6, V.G. STREET, NUNGAMBAKKAM, CHENNAI- 34
THIS IS CLOSE TO JOSIER ST, AND VALLUVAR KOTTAM.

AFTER THE CHANT, THERE WILL BE AARTHI TO THE LORD AND PRASADAM DISTRIBUTION TO  ALL MEMBERS PRESENT.
YOU MAY ALL COME IN LARGE NUMBERS WITH FRIENDS AND RELATIVES, AND PARTICIPATE IN THIS SATHSANGH.
FURTHER THIS SATHSANGH WILL CONTINUE ONCE A MONTH ON THE SECOND SATURDAY AT THE SAME TIMING AND VENUE.

 The Drawing Competition which was cancelled on the 15th of this month has been rescheduled for the 29th Sunday of this month . Those who wish to participate, may contact us within this week end and register for same.

November Sathsangh

Hari Om to All,
As part of Children's Day Celebrations, we will conduct our Sathsangh on the 15th of November (Sunday).
Timing: 3.30 to 5.30 P.M.
Programme: 3.30 to 4 P.M. --------Vocal by Master Shravan
                                                   Violin support by Miss. Varsha

                    4.15 to 5 P.M.---------Harikatha Kalashepam by Miss. Sristika Sriram.
After this programme there will be Aarthi to the Lord and Prasad will be given to all.
We welcome one and all to come with your friends and family and encourage these children's talents.

          
    

Drawing Competition For Children,s day Celebrations.

The Drawing Competition will be held on the 15th of Nov. (Sunday) between 10.30 A.M. and 12.30 Noon.
This will be for two groups, ....Sub Juniors and Juniors.

Sub Juniors.....UKG Std 1, 2 & 3
Juniors............Std 4,5,& 6.

For Sub Juniors we will give the matter to be coloured.
They can use Crayons and Colour pencils for this.
For Juniors.... they have to draw either  a sceanary or Butterfly garden using all the 7 colours of the Rainbow. They can use Felt pens and oil pastels for this.
Each group will be given one hour time.

The Regn fee for each entrant will be Rs. 20/= which can be paid at the time of coming to the Competition.
Child's date of birth is also reqd for verification.

Happy Vinayaka Chaturthi Celebrations.

We wish all our Children, Parents and Well wishers a Very Happy Vinayaka Chaturthi.
We request all parents, and children to recite the foll: two Slokas on that day (Tomorrow)
1. Ganesha Pancharathnam... which starts with.....Mudhakaraatha Modakam, and
2. Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stothram which starts with.....Pranamya Sirasa Devam, Gowri puthram Vinayakam.

Now we are planning our next sathsangh for the Children's Day( 15th November Sunday)
We are planning a Drawing Competition for the children from UKG to Std 6.

This will be in two groups.
1. UKG to Std 3....Sub_JUNIORS
2.Std 4 to Std 6.......JUNIORS

Subject and other details will be posted in one or two weeks time.

Krishna Jayanthi/ Janmashtami Celebrations

As part of Janmashtami Celebrations, which happens to fall on the 5th of September 2015, (Sat),
The Trust is arranging for a Mass Chanting of the Bagavad Gita....Chap. 12  on the 6th September(Sun) morning between 10.30 and 11.30 A.M.

This will be held at the Trust office: Flat 1 B, "Prime Chalet" No. 17, V.G.Street,
Nungambakkam, Chennai-34 
 
Children, parents and well wishers are welcome to join this programme.
Participating children can send in their names with Age, via SMS to the trust E.mail...srimstrust@gmail.com or by Phone... to 98401 88233.
Participating Children will be given Certificates and gifts as an Encouragement.

After the chanting there will be some singing of Krishna Bhajans, by members of the Trust.
Prasad will be distributed after the Aarthi to the Lord.

Kindly come in large numbers with your children and friends and enjoy the Celebrations.

We are posting these details well in advance so that children may practice and prepare nicely for this function.
