The monthly Sathsangh for January 2013 was celebrated on the 26th of January.
The programme started with Chanting of two important slokas from the Bagavad gita, taught by Mrs. Nalini Ramprasad, Founder Trustee, to all members present.
The meaning of these slokas were explained and it was welcome by on and all present.

This was followed by a Vocal Music concert by Miss. L.G.Thasmaiya, a college student. She was accompanied on the Mridangam, by Master Anirudh Subramaniam, a student of std 7.
The concert was well received and appreciated by all the people present.
As an encouragement, the artistes were given Gifts and Certificates..
After the Aarthi to the Lord, Prasadam was distributed to all present.
Children with such talents are encouraged by the Trust to perform in their monthly Sathsangh programmes.

                                                        Programme

1. All children, parents and Trust members will chant a new Sloka which will be taught by the Trust member.
2. Children will be told some facts about our Traditions and Temple worship.
3. Vocal Music programme by Miss. L.G.Thasmaya...Student of Smt. Bharathi Sooryakumar
    Mridangam accompaniment by Master. Anirudh Subramaniam...Student of
      Sri. Vinayak Ram and Guru Raghavendra.

4. Aarthi to the Lord and Prasad distribution to all present.

The New Year 2013 was welcomed with the Divine Chants of Vishnu Sahasranamam and Adithya Hrudayam, by all children, parents, well wishers and trust members. It created  a good vibration and peaceful sound to all present.
The children were happy to get Goodie Bags. Prasadam was distributed to all after the Aarthi to the Lord.
